This position serves as the HR Business Partner to the North America market that is growing and elevating its presence across the US, Canada and Mexico. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the General Manager, the Department Heads and their teams.

As an HRBP, you will manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, foster and maintain employee relationships through coaching and advising, assist in organizational effectiveness efforts, as well as build consistency and compliance into daily HR related processes. A strong and self-motivated Generalist and Business Partner who understands how to navigate the complexity of a dynamic and growing business in an environment with rapidly evolving teams, is critical for our long term success. Our team shapes change with a focus on effective communication, retention and development.

Our HR team is people-focused, collaborative, proactive, solutions-oriented and makes time for fun together. As an integral member of our team, you will help in the continued evolution of the HR team, by introducing new ideas, benefits, processes, and ways of working and continue to build expertise among each HR Center of Expertise (COE).

We offer a hybrid working schedule with 3 days in office and two days remote.

Profile

Responsibilities

Talent Development:

  • Build relationships with the employee population to maintain a pulse on the business and provide recommendations for continued development
  • Help coach, create and design content of performance reviews, objectives and developmental stretch assignments in alignment with goals of company and aspirations of employees
  • Focus on developing talent internally fostering promotions & stretch assignments
  • In collaboration with the Talent Development COE, assist with facilitation of training, both general and specific development needs
  • Continuously review the organizational structure to ensure the Market operates efficiently, effectively and has the right competencies in the organization

Talent Management:

  • Coach and advise leadership on performance management conversations and documentation
  • Serve as a coach and facilitate conversations to ensure effective feedback and performance discussions take place
  • Employee relations: Recommend appropriate action to maintain healthy work environment

Talent Acquisition:

Partner with Talent Acquisition team in the full cycle recruitment process:

  • Participate in the initial intake with Ta & hiring manager
  • Provide thought partnership on how the role should be filled and how the team will evolve
  • Conduct exploratory interviews to help build candidate sourcing pool for future needs

Hr Administration/Compliance:

  • Maintain appropriate knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate employee files in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Interface with Immigration Lawyer on all visa related matters for nonresident hires
  • Partner with legal department as needed. Accountable for all HR administration ensuring compliance with legal guidelines.

  • Identify key aspects of the organization’s culture—and understand the employee experience
  • Foster an inclusive work environment that seeks input and values diverse contributions and perspectives
  • Understand our business structure & our external business partners

What you will achieve in 12 months:

  • Design and implement company initiatives that promote a positive and productive work environment
  • Support and provide recommendations to enhance the Onboarding and Employee Engagement strategy
  • Develop and execute on talent management strategies to support team growth and individual development plans

Additional Information

You have:

  • 5+ years of Human Resources, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition Experience
  • Experience in retail, luxury retail or service-oriented organization, preferred
  • People focused. Able to quickly & organically build strong relationships at all levels cross functionally
  • Insatiable curiosity for the business. Obsession to understand business priorities and how we in Hr support these priorities through our talent
  • Strong people sensibility and instincts. Always considering the implications & impacts to employees
  • Trust, integrity, accountability and credibility are paramount in character
  • Experience in performance management, employee relations and talent development
  • A good understanding of labor & employment laws, compensation & benefits, policies & procedure
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive; takes initiative with strong follow-through and follow-up
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Resourceful, service and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a ‘hands-on’ environment. Enjoys getting into the detail and rolling up your sleeves
  • Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
